Norma Beck bought her eyeglasses in 1957 when she was just 18 years old. Today, 60 years later, she is still wearing them. Her beautiful frames receive more compliments than ever, standing out amongst modern eyeglasses for their fine attention to detail.
Born and raised in Omaha, NE, Norma bought her glasses from a little shop in downtown. A beautiful pair of classic 50’s cat-eye glasses, black with floral details in the corners. She fell in love and has been wearing them ever since.
“I have a pair of fancy Gucci frames but I rarely wear them because I love these so much more,” laughed Norma.
Eventually came a time when Norma needed to update her lenses, but alas: no shop would help her for fear of breaking the classic frames. She came to ilumin desperate for help. Gladly ilumin helped Norma replace the lenses and keep her trusty glasses framing her beautiful eyes.
